Before I could talk, sports were a part of my life – my brother gave me my first baseball at six-months old. The rest followed from there.
My professional career began as a sports reporter for OCN in Santa Ana, California way back in 1999.
There is nothing like the rush my body gets when the national anthem is wrapping up and I know I am about to see competition. This same feeling is the one I hope to convey to those viewing my work.
Graduating from Chapman University (Orange, CA) in the spring of 1999, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Film and Television with departmental honors.
I spend my free time playing with my son TJ (Thomas Joseph). When he’s napping I enjoy working out, playing sports and electronic games as well as spending time with friends.
A majority of the time, a Radio or TV is tuned to sports. My favorite sports teams are the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Dodgers, UCLA Bruins, and Los Angeles Kings.
Sports Reporting/Broadcasting is all about experience and I plan to enjoy every one of them. My motto is to go out and work hard every single day and the rest will take care of itself.
