Christine J. Jones
Christine J. Jones is a registered polysomnographic technologist and researcher at Charlottesville Neurology and Sleep Medicine. A member of the Sleep Research Society, she has a principal research interests in the science of sleep as it relates to nutrition and athletics. Currently, she is investigating the sleeping patterns of college football players and how sleep may be predictive of future success. Her recent collaborative research with Dr. W. Christopher Winter has appeared in Men’s Health, Yahoo! Health, and The Huffington Post.She is also currently pursuing emergency medical technician training and is a member of the Western Albemarle Rescue Squad. Ms. Jones began her work in sleep science as an undergraduate at James Madison University and during that time focused her research in the field of sleep, circadian rhythms, and performance. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Health Science, and has plans to pursue an advanced degree in the field of sleep/medicine in the future.
